Overview
AI Wave uses a quota system to manage resource usage across plans. Each plan includes monthly allowances for AI generations, publishing, and other features.
Quota Types
AI Content Generations
Each time an AI agent generates content (social posts, email copy, ad copy), it consumes a content generation credit.

What counts as a generation? A single generation is one request to the Copywriter agent. This could produce multiple social posts for the same campaign in one generation — so one generation often yields 5–10 pieces of content.

Tracking Your Usage
You can view your current usage at any time:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- View the Usage section for a breakdown of all quotas
- Usage resets on the 1st of each month
What Happens When You Hit a Limit?
- Content generations — You’ll be prompted to upgrade or wait until the next billing cycle
- Social posts — Additional posts are queued and published when your quota resets
- Email sends — Remaining emails in a sequence are paused
- Active campaigns — You’ll need to complete or archive a campaign before creating a new one
AI Wave will never charge you extra for exceeding limits. When you hit a quota, the feature is paused — not billed additionally.
If you regularly hit your limits, consider upgrading to the next plan for more capacity and additional features.
