Philosophy

AI Wave is built on the principle of autonomy with human control. Our AI agents are powerful and capable of running your entire marketing operation — but we believe you should always have the final say on what represents your brand publicly.

How Approval Gates Work

Approval gates are checkpoints where AI Wave pauses and waits for your explicit approval before proceeding. They exist at three critical points:

1. Content Publishing Approval

Before any content is posted to social media, you must approve it.
Content Approval
What you see:
  • The exact content that will be posted
  • The platform it will be posted to
  • The scheduled date and time
  • Any images or media attached
Your options:
  • Approve — Content is queued for publishing
  • Edit & Approve — Make changes, then approve
  • Request AI Revision — Send feedback to the Copywriter agent
  • Reject — Remove from campaign

2. Email Sending Approval

Before any email is sent to recipients, you must approve it. What you see:
  • Email subject line and preview text
  • Full email body with formatting
  • Recipient count and segments
  • Scheduled send time

3. Ad Spend Approval

Before any money is spent on advertising, you must approve the campaign. What you see:
  • Ad creative (copy + images)
  • Target audience configuration
  • Daily/total budget
  • Bid strategy
  • Campaign duration
Budget protection: AI Wave will never exceed your approved budget. If an ad campaign reaches its budget limit, it stops automatically.

Approval Notifications

When content is ready for your review, AI Wave notifies you through:
  • In-app notification — Badge on the Campaigns section
  • Email notification — Summary of pending approvals
  • Push notification — If enabled in your settings
You can review and approve content from anywhere — the approval interface is fully responsive on mobile devices.

Bulk Approval

For campaigns with many pieces of content, you can:
  1. Review all — Scroll through each piece individually
  2. Approve all — Approve everything at once (after reviewing)
  3. Approve by channel — Approve all LinkedIn posts, then all tweets, etc.

What Happens After Approval?

Once approved, the relevant publishing agent takes over:
  1. Content is scheduled at the optimal time (based on the strategy)
  2. The agent handles platform-specific formatting and posting
  3. You receive a confirmation when each piece is published
  4. Analytics tracking begins immediately
