# Social Account Integration

> Step-by-step guide to connecting your social media accounts.

## Overview

To publish content through AI Wave, you need to connect your social media accounts. This guide walks you through connecting each platform.

## LinkedIn

  <Step title="Navigate to Integrations">
    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **LinkedIn**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect** and sign in to your LinkedIn account. Authorize AI Wave to post on your behalf.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Profile">
    Choose whether to post as your **personal profile** or a **company page** you admin.
  </Step>

**Required permissions:** Share content, view profile information.

## Twitter/X

    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Twitter/X**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect** and sign in to your Twitter/X account. Authorize AI Wave.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Your handle will appear in the integration card once connected.
  </Step>

**Required permissions:** Post tweets, read profile.

## Facebook & Instagram

<Note>
  Facebook and Instagram require a **Meta Business Manager** account. Both are available on **Growth** plans and above.

    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Facebook** or **Instagram**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize with Meta">
    Click **Connect** and sign in to your Meta Business account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Pages">
    Choose which Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business account to connect.
  </Step>

**Required permissions:** Manage pages, publish content, read insights.

## Reddit

    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Reddit**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect** and sign in to your Reddit account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Subreddits">
    Optionally, configure which subreddits are relevant for your campaigns.
  </Step>

<Warning>
  Reddit has strict rules about promotional content. Always review Reddit-targeted content carefully and ensure it follows each subreddit's specific rules.
</Warning>

## Threads, Bluesky

    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → Select platform

  <Step title="Authorize">
    Click **Connect** and follow the authorization flow.
  </Step>

## Troubleshooting

### Connection Failed

| Issue                       | Solution                                       |
| --------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| OAuth error                 | Clear browser cookies and try again            |
| "Account already connected" | Disconnect from Settings first, then reconnect |
| Missing pages/profiles      | Ensure you have admin access on the platform   |
| Expired token               | Click **Reconnect** in the integration card    |

### Publishing Failed

| Issue             | Solution                                     |
| ----------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Rate limited      | Wait 15 minutes and retry                    |
| Permission denied | Reconnect the account to refresh permissions |
| Content rejected  | Review platform-specific content guidelines  |
