# Ads Platform Integration

> Connect Google Ads and Meta Ads to manage paid campaigns from AI Wave.

  Ads platform integrations are available on **Growth**, **Scale**, and **Enterprise** plans.

## Google Ads

### Prerequisites

* An active Google Ads account with billing set up
* Admin or Standard access to the account

### Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Navigate to Integrations">
    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Google Ads**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign In with Google">
    Authorize AI Wave to manage your Google Ads account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Account">
    If you manage multiple accounts (MCC), select the specific account to use.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify">
    AI Wave will display your account name and ID for confirmation.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### Permissions Required

| Permission           | Why                                          |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| **Read campaigns**   | View existing campaigns and performance data |
| **Manage campaigns** | Create and modify campaigns on your behalf   |
| **Manage budgets**   | Set and adjust campaign budgets              |

## Meta Ads

### Prerequisites

* A Meta Business Manager account
* An active ad account with billing set up
* Admin access to the Business Manager

### Setup

    Go to **Settings** → **Integrations** → **Meta Ads**
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign In with Meta">
    Authorize AI Wave to manage your ad account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Ad Account">
    Choose the specific ad account from your Business Manager.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Pixel">
    Optionally, connect your Meta Pixel for conversion tracking.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### Permissions Required

| Permission              | Why                                       |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Ads management**      | Create and manage ad campaigns            |
| **Business management** | Access account and billing info           |
| **Pages**               | Run ads from your connected Facebook Page |

## Important Notes

<Warning>
  **Billing is on your ad platform.** AI Wave creates and manages campaigns, but all ad spend is billed directly through your Google Ads or Meta Ads account. AI Wave does not process ad payments.

  **You keep full access.** AI Wave works alongside your existing access. You can always view and manage campaigns directly in Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager.

## Troubleshooting

| Issue                   | Solution                                               |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| "No ad accounts found"  | Ensure you have admin access in your Business Manager  |
| "Billing not set up"    | Add a payment method in your ad platform first         |
| Campaign not delivering | Check platform-specific ad review status and policies  |
| Budget not applying     | Verify the campaign budget settings in the Ads Console |
