# Campaign Strategy

> How AI Wave's Strategist agent builds your marketing strategy.

## Overview

After you provide a campaign brief, the **Orchestrator** and **Strategist** agents collaborate to produce a comprehensive marketing strategy. This strategy guides all content creation and publishing decisions.

## Strategy Components

### Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)

The Strategist identifies your target audience with specifics:

* **Demographics** — Job title, seniority, company size, industry
* **Pain points** — What problems they face that your product solves
* **Motivations** — What drives their purchasing decisions
* **Where they hang out** — Which platforms and communities they frequent

### Positioning & Messaging

The strategy defines:

* **Positioning statement** — How your product solves the audience's specific problem
* **Messaging pillars** — 3–5 key themes that all content should reinforce
* **Value propositions** — Specific benefits to highlight
* **Tone & voice guidelines** — How to communicate (aligned with your Brand DNA)

### Channel Mix

Based on your audience and goals, the Strategist recommends which channels to use:

| Channel        | When Recommended                                              |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **LinkedIn** | B2B audiences, thought leadership, professional content |
| **Twitter/X**  | Tech audiences, real-time updates, community engagement       |
| **Instagram** | Visual products, lifestyle brands, younger demographics |
| **Facebook** | Broad audiences, community building, local businesses |
| **Reddit** | Niche communities, technical audiences, authentic discussions |
| **Email** | Existing contacts, nurture sequences, product announcements |
| **Google Ads** | High-intent search traffic, product/service advertising       |
| **Meta Ads** | Awareness, retargeting, lookalike audiences |

### Content Calendar

A proposed publishing schedule including:

* What type of content for each channel
* Posting frequency and timing
* Content themes by day/week

### KPIs & Success Metrics

Measurable goals for the campaign:

* Impressions and reach targets
* Engagement rate benchmarks
* Click-through rate goals
* Conversion targets (if applicable)

## Reviewing Your Strategy

The strategy appears in the **Canvas** panel of your Campaign Workspace. You can:

1. **Approve as-is** — Click **Approve Strategy** to proceed to content creation
2. **Give feedback** — Use the AI chat to refine specific parts
3. **Ask questions** — "Why did you choose LinkedIn over Instagram?" — the Strategist will explain

<Tip>
  The strategy is not set in stone. You can always come back and adjust it, and the Copywriter will regenerate content accordingly.
</Tip>

### Example Feedback

```
"Focus more on the pain point of wasted time in meetings rather
than the technical features. Also, add Reddit to the channel mix —
our audience is very active on r/productmanagement."
```

The Strategist will revise the strategy based on your input and present an updated version.
